Locally owned and operated, Quinn Custom Homes, LLC is a Northern Colorado construction company comprised of years of residential and commercial construction experience. Our owner and founder, Matthew Proehl, is an expert in the field of construction and brings a unique skill set of experience and education with 30 years of residential and commercial experience. His projects ranged in size from $500,000 up to $149,000,000. He transfers his diverse knowledge to every build.
His success began in Northern Colorado in the mid 90’s as a graduate in construction management from Colorado State University and continued across multiple states. His project portfolio and experience ranging from government buildings, hospitals to net zero energy projects enables a wealth of knowledge on strict quality control measures. He transfers his knowledge to every build.
Matthew and his wife Melissa are both from Northern Colorado and their inspiration for homebuilding began in 2011 when they built their first custom house together. In taking on this massive project as a couple, they quickly discovered the known adage, “until death building a house do us part," couldn’t be further from the truth. They realized by incorporating Matthew’s general contracting background and his gift in taking inspirational concepts and distilling them into actionable tasks along with Melissa’s business background, attention to detail and love of design, they had the perfect match for building their first custom home. While bringing both their strengths to each project, they are truly passionate about helping buyers build their dream homes.
Our team consists of experienced architects, subcontractors and designers who are committed to delivering exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled customer service. We build generational homes with a focus on foundation durability, structural longevity and an energy efficient building package.
Matthew Proehl
Matthew is LEED AP accredited and is an expert in the field of construction. He has over 30 years of experience and multiple recognitions and awards including Colorado Construction's 2009 "Top 20 Under 40" as well as being nominated as “Project Manager of the Year” by the American Subcontractors Association of New Mexico.
